@C211 Totally agree, its been similar on my side too really. Schools been more demanding, sports in the mix too, etc. I recently got a guitar and hope I have enough time to practice enough and get a solid foundation on it before I get to college, currently a junior.

I have 2-3 completed tracks, but I still haven't gotten around to releasing them, because due to distribution there is a problem with the cover for the track, which I will have to do or draw...

I really feel with you
However the main thing I felt from your words if I should give a name for it would be that you're uncertain at all especially with the case of making music or with the future anyways
As you can see I don't really make music continuosly either and I can really feel with you in uncertainity
When I could finally got started to make music and could improve a bit slowly I got blind and I thought that I lost all of my motivations to get start the whole thing again from the very beginning
and I've begun pretty unsure that if I would begin to make music again it wouldn't worth it because no one would ever listen to it or even know about it
but finally I made a decision that I start to play the guitar even if it will never have any success I mean it won't earn any money or I could never be able to play in a band or something like that
now I bought an electric guitar december last year and I don't really care if my music won't be famous or known that widely but I really feel it and have joy making music again
and finally I started to get know Reaper a bit deeper and I uploaded a new track :P
And if I lost motivation again I'll find an other way to get joy and setisfaction
you musn't have only one way to engage yourself and your creativity
maybe you feellike making music maybe not and maybe some periods take for years but this is a normal thing
everybody's changing

Actually, I'm still doing music right now, but it won't be exactly what I'm doing and posting here. This will be my second pseudonym, which will focus exclusively on the Trance genre (Uplifting, Progressive, etc.), that is: own tracks, remixes, etc. All of this will be released directly on labels (i'll tell you about it sometime in the future).
However, in addition to creativity, I have to devote more of my time to studying at an educational institution, alas. It seems to absorb all my thoughts and making music becomes much more difficult...
And yes, I apologize for not responding to your comment for a long time, since during this time I lost access to my NG account (I corny forgot the password from it :/)...

And I wouldn't say that I don't have time for music at all yet. Sometimes, when I have time to rest, I can invest it in working on projects in FL or learning some new techniques in writing music.
I really hope that by the summer of 2024 I will certainly start my activities...
